Frequently Asked Questions
How much is a gallon of pet food milk?
Our gallons are $6. If you bring a 5 gallon bucket or larger, the price is still $5 per gallon.
What if I come and no one is there?
We have a farm stand! It is open 24/7, so feel free to come by whenever! Please just pick out your items, fill out an envelope, and leave your money inside or Venmo us. Please let us know if you come and there is no milk available. Call Steven at (706) 463-2303.
What does raw milk even mean? Why is it considered pet food?
Raw milk is milk that has not been pasteurized or homogenized. Essentially, it is straight from the cow. In Georgia, it is not currently legal to sell raw milk for human consumption. Raw milk was not previously considered safe for humans to drink. This summer, the legislature is changing to allow raw milk to be sold for human consumption. We are currently working toward being able to do this when the law changes.
Are your products organic? Is your milk A2A2?
No and no. We do not meet the standards to be considered organic, nor are we trying to. In order to have A2A2 milk, you must test all of your cows to see what enzyme they produce. All cows in your herd must be A2A2 to be considered an A2A2 farm. We have not tested, nor do we intend to at this time.
